Meet Ivet Garica

Ivet received her master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pepperdine University and earned her bachelor’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Mount Saint Mary’s University. After graduating from undergraduate studies, she worked in the field of Applied Behavioral Analysis for 3 years and became a Registered Behavioral Technician through the Behavioral Analysts Certification Board in 2018. Ivet specializes in working with children with special needs who have diagnoses such as: Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention Deficit-Hyperactive Disorder, Down’s Syndrome, and Emotional Disturbances. While working alongside families who have children with special needs, she noticed how every family member struggled to cope with activities related to daily living, which drove her passion to work with the whole family as a unit and enroll in grad school to continue learning and growing as a clinician.
