Meet Laura Flann


Laura Flann is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW84178) with 12 years of experience practicing with children and teens. After receiving her B.A in Sociocultural Studies at Bethel University-MN, Laura earned a Master of Social Work from the University of Minnesota in 2007.

Currently, Laura works for a charter school district in Los Angeles as a Mental Health and Support Services Manager. She has years of experience working with primarily elementary- and middle-school aged youth with clinical mental health needs. While working as a School Social Worker for many years, Laura has strengthened her advocacy skills for families and has gained a deep knowledge of special education services that help her students learn successfully.

Laura utilizes strengths-based, client-centered techniques to help the, reach their goals. Laura is passionate about utilizing hands-on interactive techniques of healing play, art, and drama therapy during her sessions so that the work is not only effective, but also fun for the clients he serves.
