Meet Rachel Edmond


Rachel Edmond is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW # 100739). Rachel received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor and her Master’s in Social Work from the University of Southern California’s Suzanne Dworack-Peck School of Social Work.  Rachel is currently a school social worker at an elementary school in South Los Angeles and previously worked as an outpatient mental health therapist, working with children and teens between the ages of 5-18. 

Rachel is experienced in working with children and adolescents struggling with ADHD, anxiety, behavioral challenges, difficulty making friends/social skills, adjusting to life changes, and more. Rachel is passionate about helping children and teens learn tools for managing emotions, increase their ability to cope with challenges, and understand their own patterns of thinking and behavior. Rachel uses warmth, humor, and compassion to connect with clients, providing them with a safe-space to explore their feelings. Rachel’s therapeutic approach includes elements of cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness techniques, and expressive play to help clients reach their goals.
