Meet Sandra Gelblicht


Dr. Sandra Gelblicht is passionate about helping people navigate life’s challenges, reduce suffering, and increase joyfulness. She received her Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) degree from California Southern University, Costa Mesa in Psychology. She also holds a Master of Arts degree in Transpersonal Psychology from Sofia University (formerly Institute for Transpersonal Psychology), Palo Alto. She utilizes a strengths-based approach to facilitate growth that is individualized and authentic thereby contributing to real and lasting change.

Dr. Sandra has experience working with people of all ages. She has held several roles in the education system predominantly including as a teacher, Dean of Students, and provider of support to students with varied social, emotional, and academic needs. She has also taught at the college level as well as provided in home training and facilitation to children and families through the state’s early intervention program. She has experience providing mental health counseling, crisis response, risk assessment, and group therapy in the county jail. She also has clinical experience working with Veterans, PTSD/CPTSD, Autism, anxiety, depression, ADHD, couples, and more. Additionally, she provides comprehensive psychological testing for diagnostic clarity as indicated.

Dr. Sandra joins Albert Knapp and Associates as a postdoctoral Psychological Assistant. She is a member of the American Psychological Association, the California Psychological Association and the Los Angeles County Psychological Association. She looks very forward to working with you towards creating a life where you can achieve what you are seeking and flourish!
